It just goes to show, if you don't wear clothes, you can relax and let it all hang loose.

Solitary…

Yup, that laid-back lazing chocolate lab really made my morning. Certainly the least-stressed among us!

Arija…

Can't say being naked in an arena filled with 10,000 people would relax me…

It certainly hasn't stifled the spontaneity of that dog Grizz.

Now you've put that image in our minds, Grizz, how can we ever get rid of it?

Weaver…

Nope, not stifled at all—which was what amused me no end. And the contemplation of which doubtless aided greatly in my survival during the long graduation ceremony's near endless ordeal of boring speeches and self-delivered accolades.

The service dogs of the Masters and Doctorate recipients dressed in black, as befitted their now lofty importance, simply lay quietly—well-mannered, like good obedience-schooled pooches should.

By telling contrast, those mutts with the green-robed BA graduates reflected the usual mythic notion that the past four years of college life/party life was merely a warm-up for endless good times ahead. Just as soon as those geezers on the platform handed out the sheepskins, they'd have their well-earned license to sally forth and party full-time. Yessir, the rest of the day and the rest of their life would (YAWN!) soon become a most agreeable agreeable adventure.

I think Weaver set me up and should be held partly to blame. Still…better your fantasy image than any reality of possibly becoming the next viral video on YouTube. Or not, which would be terribly depressing.

Parsnip…

Thank you. I figured others would find those dogs amusing, too…especially the laid-back chocolate lab. Glad you liked the post.
