HI GRIZZ - as a little girl we always had an Advent Calendar on our refrigerator and each day we opened a 'window' on the Calendar and read an inspirational saying, psalm, proverb, etc. Your daily Advent posting remind me warmly of those days, "thank you" Grizz for all the joy and wisdom, truth, friendship, nature and love you bring to all of us who have the privilege of sharing in your simple beautiful natural life. Love Gail peace....
I glad to hear it. That's the idea. I never knew about Advent calendars during my growing up. The church I attended didn't especially emphasize the Advent Sundays, other than to note them in the "bulletin." We never lit I never saw an Advent calendar until I was at least in my twenties…but I liked the concept immediately.
For the blog, I suppose if I were way more "geeky/techie" I could do one where each day you clicked open a new window or whatever…but I'm your basic Luddite when it comes to all such stuff. I know about as much as it takes to get along, providing problems are few and simple. After that, I roll over like a hog-nosed snake and play dead.

I will, and I appreciate your comment. I like reading (and doing) stuff like this…and I hope others enjoy it, too.
