MERRY CHRISTMAS!

To my wonderful readers of Riverdaze—
I hope you enjoy your time here
as much as I enjoy your visits and comments.
I consider you, each and every one,
not only friends, but an extended family.
And I appreciate you all very much.
Remember, being family,
no need to wait for an invitation
to drop by the riverbank,
you're always welcome!

From Myladylove, Moon the Dog, and
the Grizzled-But-Still-Incorrigible-Scribe-Himself…
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas from a much warmer part of the world, a beach on Kangaroo Island South Australia. I look forward to reading next years installments with pleasure. Thank you for last year.

A very Merry Christmas to you all as well. Turkey is in the oven now and I'm just having 5 quiet minutes with a coffee before making breakfast and then it's present opening time:)

As wonderful as it is to find a kindred spirit, it is even nicer to be accepted as a sisterfriend. an honour indeed.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, ours was only shadowed by the Prof's fading memory lately having accelerated alarmingly. The family rallied around quite remarkably though.

Thanks for the picture of the river, the sort of change I watched for with excitement as a child.

Hugs and Blessings . . . Arija

Linda, Kelly, Hilary, Penny, Lorenzo, Rowan, Jane, Scott, Julie, Robin, George, Arija, Bernie…

Please forgive me, but I'm going to do something I vowed I would avoid doing on Riverdaze…that is to answer a number of comments collectively. However, if I don't respond in this way now, I'll feel even worse about not being able to respond in my usual individual and at least semi-timely manner.

In truth, I've spent most of the last three days sick. Not hospitalization sick, but sneezing, hacking, coughing, runny-nose, watery-eye SICK—where every bone in your body aches, your head fills up with slime while your brain seems to float off to never-never land, and you alternate between drowning in sweat or shivering so hard you fear shaking out your teeth and snapping your spinal column.

For now, while I'm temporarily vertical, I just want to say how much I enjoyed each and every word and comment wishing me a Merry Christmas. I appreciated them all. And I did have a really wonderful Christmas—one of the best. Honest. Thank you so much. You are truly the best! And I hope your Christmas was equally great.

Again, please forgive this delay. I may expand my holiday report later…but for now, I'm going to crawl back to bed and zone out for the night.

Oh poor you. I hope you feel much better very soon. And for heaven's sake, don't feel bad about not replying individually. Sending healing thoughts your way.

Hilary...

Thank you. It's 3:45 a.m. and I've come into the great room to sit in the rocker and cough in a different place for awhile...but I do believe I feel a bit better, and now think I may live.

I'd love to make a winter camping trip to the southeastern hill country after the first of the year. Thank you for your comments, always, and know they're appreciated.

Merry Christmas!
