Weaver…

Thank you. I hope you had a lovely day, too…our weather was truly glorious!

Solitary…

A wonderful Easter day here, warm—almost hot—filled with sun and singing birds. The river a sparkling pale jade, sky indigo blue, with wildflowers everywhere and new leaves in a thousand shades of green. As near perfect as possible. Happy Easter, my friend.

Gail…

Hope you had a great Easter. We went to church this morning, sang the beloved old songs and listened anew to the singular stirring message of Christendom's cornerstone event. Christ has risen! I'm so thankful I can place my heart and life and faith in something real and everlasting. Happy Easter!

Easter was a great day. Glad yours was, also.

A fine day, indeed. Other than slow-cooking a couple of slabs of ribs on the grill after attending church, we spent the day lazing on the deck—reading, snoozing, listening to the river and Pandora, and watching birds working the feeders at close range and our resident pair of Canada geese even closer…arm's length. I think I saw my first warbler of the season.

BTW, tomorrow's weather looks doable for pix.

Happy Easter, Grizz. Hope everything is coming up roses (or tulips) on the riverbank.

Good for filching leftover Easter eggs, too!

George…

We had snow and cold earlier in the week…and mid-70s today. Hey, it's Ohio. No roses yet, but tulips and daffodils and several other yard blooms, plus maybe two dozen wildflowers in the nearby woodlands. A glorious spring day, and a glorious Easter!

Happy Easter to you!

I prefer to do my egg filching later in the week when that dastardly Easter Bunny is not lurking about. I had some jelly beans. Does that count?

Moonmuser said...

No, it doesn't count! I was anticipating the thrill of finding the very eggs at the place you mentioned and not being caught by Perry Twp. PD or dastardly E.B. Such delicious fun!

Momcat…

Your fears are groundless…the ol' E.B. has hippity-hopped back to commune for another year with the marshmallow chicks and cream-filled eggs, and the Perry Township P.D. has never been known to step foot beyond their cruisers unless a doughnut was involved.
