CHRISTMAS JOURNEY…DAY 13

With joy approach, O Christian wight!
Do homage to thy king;
and highly praise this humble pomp
Which he from heaven doth bring.

Robert Southwell (1561-1595)
from "New Prince, New Pomp"

HI GRIZZ - beautiful capture. What is in his/her mouth, a twig? Fascinating.
Happy Friday - we are headed out to food shop etc. since a good sized snow storm is coming tomorrow. We will tuck in and prepare some comfort foods and sip wine (later in the day) and watch some movies. Perfect.
Love to you

Gail…

The split-apart hull of a sunflower seed…I think.

I'm supposed to meet a friend for lunch, but haven't salted driveway since receiving more snow the other day, and can't get my truck up the hill to the road. So I told him he'd have to treat this like a date and come pick me up—and he agreed, but sounded worrisomely eager. Maybe shouldn't have used the word "date", huh? ;-/

Hi again - definitely use the word "date", and when you get in his vehicle give him a big, long tight hug an a kiss on the cheek, (wet)...heeheehahaha (that's the mischevious side in me)
Love to you

Naaaaahhhhh…I'm not that kind of guy. I don't kiss on the first date.
